Guillermo Oliva has been named new supply chain director, Gabriele Zaretti has been appointed to the role of chief commercial officer and Carolina Dieguez will be the company’s new marketing director.

The appointments are part of a revamp strategy spearheaded by Equivalenza’s CEO David Kervyn.

As commercial and development officer, Zaretti will be responsible for driving growth in market share in Spain. She will focus on creating long term brand development strategies and developing business opportunities.

Additionally, Zareti will oversee the licence business and the management of international teams, directly-owned stores and corporate headquarters. She joins Equivalenza from Puma, part of Kering, where she was lead the retail & ecommerce team for the Latin American market.

In his role as supply chain director, Guillermo Oliva will take responsibility for everything from customer services, sourcing, planning and logistics.

Meanwhile, Carolina Dieguez will lead the marketing department overseeing trade marketing, product development, store design and visual merchandising.

The hires follow the arrival of new CEO David Kervyn in April, replacing Francisco Morán who was promoted to the role of president of the group.

The Spanish perfume and cosmetics manufacturer trades from 750 stores in 30 countries.

Launched in 2011, the group has offices in Barcelona, Italy, Sao Paulo and Mexico. All Equivalenza stores are located in prime shopping centres and streets.
