Grand Seiko will open its first boutique in Beverly Hills - Seiko Corporation of America

Grand Seiko was created in 1960 and operated as a division under the Seiko Watch Corporation. However, according to an official statement, Grand Seiko is now an independent brand from Seiko.

The brand explained that "Earlier this year, Grand Seiko was given complete independence and is now an entirely separate brand with its own unique appeal, distinct design and exclusive technologies."

Grand Seiko has its own branding and logo in blue and silver. Grand Seiko's luxury watches showcase its independent logo at the twelve o'clock location on each dial of its new line. The brand is designed to invoke feelings of craftsmanship, heritage and design.

To celebrate the opening of the first Grand Seiko store in the world, Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse joined the President and COO of Seiko Watch Corporation, Shuji Takahashi to cut the ribbon. The Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles, Akira Chiba, was also present.

The new Grand Seiko boutique is located at 439 1/2 N. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA.
