Italian menswear label Entre Amis is enjoying a growing international success with its trousers. The label was present at Pitti Uomo 92, where it introduced a highly innovative collection, in which even the most classically tailored trousers featured special fabric treatments.

"Our objective, said Antonio Casillo, the label's owner and Export Manager, was to showcase a selected range of trousers and, chiefly, to try to boost our brand awareness, rather than simply collect orders. This was also due to the fact that the pre-collection sales campaign was much more successful than we expected, with a 20% revenue growth year-on-year."

The pre-collection has eventually turned into a fully fledged seasonal collection, with up to nearly 100 items (compared to 50 items in previous seasons). This has allowed Entre Amis to tot up more than 50% of its target revenue already, improving logistics and addressing the increasingly common request of delivering the summer collections in December, in order to bring sales forward as much as possible and make any further re-stocking easier to manage.

Entre Amis is the third trousers label in Japan for sales, and has recently inked a deal with Italian department store La Rinascente for the opening of shop-in-shops in the group's Milan and Rome branches, where Entre Amis products will be available from August. "By the end of 2017, the label is planning to enter into the UK and France, said Casillo, having first toed the waters at Pitti Uomo 92. Even more important is the plan to expand into South Korea, a country that is strategic for the brand and where Entre Amis will focus its efforts, as it is already well distributed in Asia."

Entre Amis is based in the Naples area, where it was founded in 2010. It has strong tailoring roots and is currently assessing an extension of its 7,500 m2 headquarters. The goal is to internalise the production process as much as possible, in order to retain high quality standards, though a series of collaborations with specialised ateliers in the Naples area, a cradle of Italian menswear manufacturing, are still in operation.

In 2016, Entre Amis generated a revenue of €7.5 million (+12%), and the forecast for 2017 is to reach €8.5 million, helped also by the rise in sales through the label's e-store.
