In 1996, Jean-Claude Le Grand was named head of Human Resources for the company's French consumer products division. Two years later, he became Director of HR for the active cosmetics division, then in 2002, International Recruitment Director.

In 2007, he took on the role of Director of Human Resources for the entirety of the company's consumer products division, and introduced new diversity objectives which, L'Oréal points out in a release, have led to the company "being recognized today as the best company in the world in terms of gender equality among 3,000 companies ranked by Equileap". Since 2011, he has worked alongside Jérôme Tixier as Senior VP Talent Development and Chief Diversity Officer.

Jérôme Tixier joined L'Oréal in 1980 as an internal auditer before becoming head of Biotherm's sales department, Finance and Administration Director for France, then General Manager of Kérastase. In 1993, he moved to Human Resources and, since 2007, has served as advisor to the Chairman. In 2011, Tixier was appointed Executive Vice-President Human Resources.
