Neinver continues to expand across Europe. The Spanish outlet operator has launched its 16th international outlet centre in the capital of Czech Republic, Prague.

Prague The Style Outlets - Neinver

The opening of Prague The Style Outlets marks the arrival of Neinver in a new market, taking the total number of countries and regions where it has a presence to 7. The retail scheme involved an investment of 70 million euros ($82m, £61.4m) and has created 600 new jobs.

The project is part of an agreement signed in 2016 with The Prague Outlet. It opened its doors to the public on Friday 18 May and was visited by 26,000 people during its first weekend.

Neinver CEO Daniel Losantos said: “This centre marks a major milestone in our expansion plan in Europe, adding one more centre to our current portfolio of 15 outlet centres. We are delighted to see Prague The Style Outlets open its doors after we’ve worked closely for more than two years with our partner The Prague Outlet, whose broad knowledge of the Czech market, combined with Neinver’S 20 years of experience, will ensure the success of this scheme.”

The centre is located near Prague’s international airport and 20 minutes from the city centre, has 20,000 square metres of GLA, 100 stores and 2,400 free parking spaces. A second phase of development is expected to add a further 30,000 sq mts of GLA in the coming years.

In Europe, Neinver operates 16 outlet centres in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Poland and now the Czech Republic. The company ended 2017 with an increase in sales to 917 million euros and 41.7 million visitors to its international centres.
