Perry Ellis International, Inc. launched on Thursday the second drop from the brand's archive capsule collection.

Dubbed Perry Ellis America, after a sub-label that debuted in 1984, the collection consists of five limited releases, the first of which was released in November.

While the first capsule consisted of pieces that were direct reproductions of the original line, this second wave, Capsule II, reinterprets the original collection.

"With Capsule II, we maintained the DNA of the original pieces and took it up a notch with updates that reinforce the rich history of heritage applications and branding," explained Perry Ellis Creative Director, Michael Maccari.

Still inspired by the nineties, it features bold logos and a vibrant color palette of red, black, white, and heather grey. Items include nylon tracksuits, washed denim, outerwear and more, with nineties staples like an oversized puffer and a basketball sneaker in white and navy.

Shoppers can also find an updated original collaboration with Levi's –an eagle image – on several archival pieces including on a yellow shell suit with red accents and a varsity bomber where the eagle adorns the back.

Thanks to updated silhouettes and a more modern color palette, the capsule is a lot more contemporary in look and feel.

The collection ranges from $50–$395 and is now available on the Perry Ellis website.
